Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 20 direct reports to achieve safe and efficient operation of production areas
- Develop and implement effective processes and equipment utilization strategies to meet production goals and objectives
- Train, coach, motivate, and lead the production workforce to ensure safe and efficient operation of production areas
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and safety
- Monitor processes and tasks to identify problems and improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing or a heavy industrial environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and continuous improvement concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
- Supervisory experience in a union environment
- Experience with task standardization process and writing new and correcting existing documents
Salary Range: $63,100 to $81,900/annually +
