Job Summary

Banc of California is seeking a highly skilled Customer Relationship Officer to join our team. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Drive sales growth by cross-selling bank products and services, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Process all types of new account transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan applications.
  • Perform daily check scanning, vault settlement, ATM settlement, and night drop deposits, as well as assist with opening and closing branch procedures.
  • Multitask among multifaceted job roles to address all service or transaction needs, including cash transactions and opening basic accounts.
  • Research and resolve cash differences, and coordinate with the Branch Manager regarding responses for independent third-party and regulatory audits.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all bank products and services, and provide mentoring and training to other staff members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of retail banking experience in a financial services industry.
  • 1 year experience explaining credit products and accepting/closing loan applications.
  • Intermediate math skills, including calculating interest and percentages, balancing accounts, and adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.
  • Excellent knowledge of bank deposits, credit products, and services to open accounts.
  • Relationship building, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in the work environment.
Benefits

Banc of California offers a competitive salary range of $40,000.00-$58,000.00 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
