The Food Service Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food items. This position requires adherence to established food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this role is set at $17.10, subject to variation based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and prior experience. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses or commissions where applicable. This figure represents Aramark's reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greets and assists all patrons.
- Processes food orders and serves items to guests.
- Prepares and assembles food products following standardized recipes.
- Ensures proper food storage in compliance with safety standards.
- Organizes workstations, including prep areas and service counters.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas after service.
- Delivers food to guests while ensuring satisfaction and anticipating needs.
- Restocks food items to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Maintains a positive and friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
- Follows safety protocols and procedures to ensure food safety and sanitation.
- Safeguards company assets.
- Operates cash registers and processes payments from guests.
- Balances cash register sales with inventory counts.
- Adheres to company policies regarding alcohol service.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
- Exhibits strong guest service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- May need to meet state age requirements for alcohol service.
- Possession of a TIPS/TEAM card may be required for alcohol service.
- Completion of Serve Safe Food Handlers certification may be necessary.
- Prior guest service experience is advantageous.
- Ideal candidates should be flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
