Job Title: Program Manager for IT Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our IT operations in the Metro Atlanta area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to manage 1:1 student devices, from collection to distribution and maintaining ongoing inventories.

The Program Manager will ensure the seamless coordination of student device logistics, including procurement, deployment, and tracking. Additionally, they will contribute to the efficient management of Client printer and copier inventories, ensuring optimal functionality and availability.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional capable of navigating the complexities of device management within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a clear strategy of device distribution based on assessment of the classroom/school
  • Assist in the development of an effective device management plan
  • Develop process flows for project distribution activities
  • Lead the documentation of processes and procedures documents associated with the project
  • Assist in developing a communication strategy to notify school administrators of the project and the dates associated with their schools distribution

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' work experience leading programs
  • Process-focused experience
  • PMP Certification (preferred)
  • Tableau experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge and prior work experience in information technology
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must have a clean criminal record with the ability to pass a fingerprint background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment:

This work will be completed on-site at any of the Atlanta Public Schools sites or buildings in the Metro Atlanta area, including the Center for Learning and Leadership. However, this resource will follow the working schedule as noted by the district based on COVID protocol. The Program Manager will work Monday through Friday, typically 8am to 5pm.
