Key responsibilities include:
- Logging and managing onsite IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records
- Assisting with the installation, cable management, and reorganization of office and security workstations, as well as mining site expansions and move-ins
- Performing routine maintenance on computer hardware and devices
- Offering remote troubleshooting and support for IT-related issues, covering Office 365, Windows desktops, Macs, smartphones, and network printers
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies, Technical Education, or related field
- 5 years of experience minimum, hands-on desktop and office support preferred
- Basic computer/network proficiency; time/project management
Travel requirements include frequent travel between sites and occasional travel by plane to remote sites. Basic Networking Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified) and ITIL 4 Foundation are also required.
