About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled LPN-ACUTE nurse to join our team at Levindale Hospital. As a member of our Brain Health Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Attend to the daily operations of the unit, including maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assuming responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.
Requirements:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field; Less than one year experience; Graduate of accredited school of nursing (diploma).
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills; Synquest; IV Pump; Phillips Monitoring System; Accucheck; EKG Machine, Specialty Bed Operation.
