LPN-ACUTE Nurse Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled LPN-ACUTE nurse to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a member of our Brain Health Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Attend to the daily operations of the unit, including maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assuming leadership responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma) with a formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
