KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Financial Operations Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Participating in strategic financial planning for the organization
  • Overseeing the accounting department and managing the team, including staff accountants and accounts receivable/payable
  • Conducting internal financial audits
  • Driving digital transformation initiatives
  • Continuously improving processes
  • Reporting and analyzing financial data, communicating results to leadership
  • Building and maintaining relationships with banks, external auditors, and accounting firms
  • Optimizing cash flow and tax strategies
  • Managing the budgeting cycle, capital expenditures, and business insurance
  • Engaging in financial planning and analysis
  • Creating metrics and managing Key Performance Indicators
  • Planning for cost reduction and ensuring costing accuracy
  • Overseeing asset management
  • Managing cost accounting
  • Developing organizational structure and talent
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • CPA or CMA certification
  • 10 years of experience in a Controller role
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Expertise in month-end reporting, budgeting, and Key Performance Indicator management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of payroll and ERISA laws

Preferred:

  • Experience in the manufacturing sector
  • Background in an international organization
  • Experience with companies operating multiple enterprises

Desired:

  • Expertise in enterprise financial planning
  • Experience in turnaround management
  • Collaboration with sales teams to develop forecasts as part of the budgeting process
