Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including tax and audit requirements
  • Financial Operations
    • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
    • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including bank statements and credit card statements
  • Financial Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and objectives
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial plans and policies
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
    • 7+ years' relevant experience in a finance leadership role, including annual audit and tax experience
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite required
    • Demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior leadership, board members, and external partners
    • Proven ability to build and maintain a positive and respectful working environment
