Athletic Performance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in improving employee health, well-being, and performance by delivering worksite services and providing early intervention, ergonomic assessment, rehabilitation, and outreach.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough ergonomic assessments of static and dynamic activities to identify potential safety issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective injury prevention and rehabilitation programs to reduce the risk of workplace injuries and promote employee well-being.
- Provide coaching and training to employees on proper body mechanics, injury mitigation techniques, and general indicated stretches to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee health and safety data, including incident reports and ergonomic assessments.
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of worksite services and promote a culture of safety and well-being.
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Certification in Massage Therapy, or Physical Therapy discipline.
- Experience with ergonomic evaluation and injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
- Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
