We are seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Waterloo Occupational Health/Martin Bros. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in improving employee health, well-being, and performance. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering worksite services, providing early intervention, ergonomic assessment, rehabilitation, and outreach to reduce injuries and risk for employees of client companies.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver worksite services to improve employee health, well-being, and performance
- Provide early intervention, ergonomic assessment, rehabilitation, and outreach to reduce injuries and risk
- Perform duties within clinic setting on/at a client site in addition to Occ Med clinic
- Act as front-line customer ambassador for patients and clients on behalf of UnityPoint Health at Work
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential records written and electronically
- Prepare reports and data as directed to support client reporting and outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Certification in Massage Therapy, or Physical Therapy discipline
- Experience with ergonomic evaluation
- Knowledge and skill in effective organization and instruction of identified interventions
- Certification as an Athletic trainer by National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Massage
- Athletic Trainer licensure in state of Iowa and/or Illinois (states in which practicing)
