Your role and responsibilities

As the Senior Retirement Analyst at ABB, you will oversee the delivery of benefit operations for the U.S. and Puerto Rico, manage vendor relationships, and ensure effective benefit program delivery to employees, managers, human resources business partners (HRBPs), and other stakeholders. This role emphasizes collaboration with internal clients and retirement vendors while providing subject matter expertise in all facets of retirement plans. This position is available for remote candidates in NC/SC/VA/MD, or a hybrid-remote arrangement if located in the Greater Cary/Raleigh area (#LI-Remote). Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing relationships and monitoring performance against service level agreements with benefit carriers - Understanding, interpreting, and communicating complex benefits regulations and documentation - Consulting with internal clients and vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient resolution of cases - Addressing complex ServiceNow cases in line with Key Performance Indicators while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications for the role
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree with 4 or more (4+) years of experience in benefits administration or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Extensive knowledge of defined contribution and defined benefits retirement plans.
  • Familiarity with benefit laws and regulations: ERISA, Benefit Plan Reporting/Filing Requirements.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated presentation abilities.
  • Prior experience with a Human Resources Information System is essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect employee privacy.
  • Experience with HCM systems such as SAP and/or Workday is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
