Join our team as a Civil Structural Analyst focused on site-based projects.

The Civil Structural Analyst conducts structural evaluations of low complexity on existing communication infrastructures, including guyed, self-supporting, and monopole towers along with their foundations. The role involves preparing comprehensive written reports that outline tower capacity and suggest necessary modifications to enhance capacity.

The Civil Structural Analyst I collaborates with senior engineers to analyze more intricate structures and design new towers, foundations, and alterations to current towers.

Responsibilities include reviewing TIA inspection reports of low to intermediate complexity on existing communication structures and generating engineering documentation that recommends remediation measures. The incumbent will also assist senior engineers in evaluating more complex TIA inspection reports and remediation needs.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assess requests for engineering services, adhering to established processes to accurately identify the required service type.


• Evaluate tower structures and foundations for existing, proposed, and reserved tenant configurations, performing analyses on low complexity projects using hand calculations, tower analysis software, and other accepted methodologies. Produce necessary engineering reports.


• Design modifications for low complexity projects, including tower reinforcements, extensions, and foundations, while generating required engineering deliverables.


• Review modification drawings for low complexity projects, collaborating with design staff to resolve any discrepancies.


• Examine tower inspections of low to intermediate complexity across all tower types and assess the level of remediation required, if any.


• Maintain current system data to ensure accurate customer and sales reporting, while following quality control protocols.


• Provide quality, timely, and precise support for inquiries and issues within defined responsibilities, including but not limited to phone, email, and instant messaging.

Qualifications:


• Fundamental knowledge of structural analysis software, tower structures, and design methodologies.


• Basic proficiency in CAD software.


• Strong focus on accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.


• Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.


• Ability to collaborate with various functional groups and levels of personnel within the organization to achieve results effectively and professionally.


• Excellent follow-up skills; capable of organizing timelines and addressing internal and external customer needs.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.


• Exceptional organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks within agreed timeframes through effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment.


• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients and vendors.


• Self-motivated; capable of working independently to complete tasks and respond to requests, as well as collaborating with others to leverage their resources and knowledge for high-quality solutions.
