Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Next Move Healthcare is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily clinical practice and nursing care delivery, sharing 24-hour responsibility for operational activities, and supervising nursing and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily clinical practice and nursing care delivery
  • Share 24-hour responsibility for operational activities, including staffing and resource management
  • Supervise nursing and technical staff, assess staff proficiency, and coordinate staffing needs
  • Participate in hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, and terminations
  • Serve as a role model, fostering staff development and supporting strategic goals
  • Mentor staff, identify potential future leaders, and engage in succession planning
  • Analyze and implement administrative and operational improvements

Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing (Master's required within 5 years)
  • RN license
  • Operating Room experience
  • 5 years of clinical and leadership experience
  • CNOR certification (or must obtain within 6 months of start date)
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in Cardiovascular and Vascular surgeries
