Ambulatory Care Nurse

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Direct Observation Unit (DOU) at our Verona, Mississippi location.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our DOU. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of nursing functions to support the medical plan of care, while maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining patient records through daily nursing summaries, Medicare charting, and accurate medication administration records.
- Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and provide patient/family teaching necessary for continuing care during and after discharge.
- Perform IV therapy utilizing hospital guidelines and maintain knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
