Position Overview:

The Patient Accounts Representative plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of medical billing. This position is responsible for reviewing and editing claims to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit medical claims for accuracy and completeness
  • Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely resolution
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable (A/R) to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing-related issues

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on medical billing
  • 2 years of experience in medical billing preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business administration or a related field preferred

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
