Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Systems Analyst at Bethel Church of Redding, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative IT solutions to enhance business efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis: Examine existing IT systems and business models to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Requirements Gathering: Analyze systems requirements and gather input from stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement feasible solutions to improve business processes and systems.
  • Implementation and Testing: Work with cross-functional teams to implement and test solutions, ensuring that they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Client Management: Liaise with internal and external clients to understand their needs, provide guidance and support, and ensure that solutions meet their expectations.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Broad knowledge of hardware, software, and programming languages, including experience with software development lifecycles.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and systems, with the ability to analyze and improve them.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Strong team working and leading skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Logical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
