Disability Support Professional

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area is seeking a skilled Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for organizing and implementing engaging learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of our youth. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and inclusive environment that fosters the mental, physical, and social development of our members.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our curriculum categories, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for our youth.
• Set up materials, facilitate, and evaluate programming activities to ensure their success.
• Enter member data and participation into our database, maintaining accurate records.
• Assist in ensuring a safe environment for club members and staff, adhering to our strict procedures.
Requirements
• Associate degree in education or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient with computer equipment and able to meet the physical demands of working with youth.
• Spanish speaking is a plus, and a valid state driver's license may be required for certain roles.
