Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development and deployment of algorithms for the eVTOL vehicle
  • Participate in critical analysis of aircraft stability and construct the control architecture
  • Implement rigorous testing of control law implementation and dynamics
  • Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to design and test control laws
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace or relevant engineering field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in flight control algorithm design for rotary-wing and/or fixed-wing Fly-By-Wire aircraft systems
  • Strong experience in analyzing flight dynamic modes and experience with actuator and motor control loops
  • Experience with mixing and blending of control surface commands and flight testing
  • Experience with sensor processing and Kalman filter design and system identification and optimization tools
