Job Title: Project Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with vendors, internal and external customers to ensure timely and profitable project execution.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet sales and project management objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive practices to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement changes to project plans, contracts, and installation schedules as needed, including the estimation, development, and submission of Change Orders.
  • Support invoicing and collection efforts by ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, monitoring reports, and following up with customers and management.
  • Manage project budgets and P&L responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement project installation plans, determine goals, manage the plan, and prepare job procedures.
  • Maintain construction schedules, coordinate task-scheduling with other trades, and ensure quality results are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Define project problems, work with financial, contract management, and management tools to ensure project profitability, and develop fallback and contingency plans.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • At least six years of project management experience, with electronic security industry experience preferred.
  • A proven track record and verified references relating to the ability to manage $4+ million dollar projects to schedule and budget.
  • Expert knowledge of PM techniques and tools, general knowledge of contract laws and regulations.
  • PMP from the Project Management Institute, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, perform tasks of moderate to high complexity, and establish effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team player with strong work ethic, and self-motivated with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Strong analytical decision-making capabilities, ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines, and experience in the security industry is preferred.
