Role Summary:

As the Construction Project Executive, you will lead a team of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers to ensure that client projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project strategies.
  • Oversee all Project Managers and Associate Project Managers assigned to projects.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings.
  • Engage in client presentations and construction meetings.
  • Conduct weekly site visits for active construction projects.
  • Review all project documentation to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and operational standards.
  • Monitor the performance of all project participants.
  • Perform monthly reviews of project documents and conduct risk assessments.
  • Provide guidance and corrective actions for identified deficiencies.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all project stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present monthly progress reports to the Executive Vice President of Operations and Operations Manager.
  • Collaborate with various teams across SOCOTEC to ensure effective oversight of projects with diverse scopes and complexities.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Availability Requirements:
  • Attend evening meetings as necessary.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.
  • Ability to work remotely from various locations when not in the office.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in construction, including direct management of project managers and assistant project managers.
  • Expertise in one or more construction disciplines such as concrete restoration for high-rise residential buildings, roofing repairs and replacements, HVAC systems, and waterproofing.
  • Ability to interpret and enhance construction documents.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration with contractors and design professionals.
  • Experience leading construction meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of project managers handling multiple concurrent projects.
  • Exceptional people management and communication skills.
  • Strong client relationship management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal presentation skills, both in-person and online.
