About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team at Linwood Center. As a Behavior Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective assessment and intervention methods to support students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and manage behavior intervention plans, including coordinating with residential staff and families
  • Assist with the training and orientation of teachers, support staff, and other service personnel
  • Conduct in-service trainings and participate in case conferences and IEP meetings
  • Communicate effectively with families, referral, and placing agency representatives
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, or related discipline
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or comparable
  • Minimum of two years proven successful experience in implementing, designing, and overseeing behavior analysis services for individuals with autism
  • Ability to communicate with and provide direct assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities who are having behavioral challenges

  • Year-round school schedule with Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm shifts
