Job Title: Behavior Specialist - Autism Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team at Shore Medical Center. As a Behavior Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective assessment and intervention methods for individuals with autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and manage behavior intervention plans that are tailored to the individual's needs.
  • Collaborate with residential staff, families, and other service personnel to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans.
  • Provide training and orientation to teachers, support staff, and other service personnel on behavior analytic interventions.
  • Participate in case conferences and IEP meetings to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, or related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or comparable.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in implementing, designing, and overseeing behavior analysis services for individuals with autism.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000.
  • Year-round school schedule with Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm shifts.
