Are you enthusiastic about advocating for energy efficiency and positively impacting your community? We are looking for a passionate Retail Outreach Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting retail partners and enhancing engagement with our energy efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Engagement:
- Conduct regular visits to participating retail locations within a specific product category at least once every four to six weeks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of location visits on a daily basis.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with management and sales staff.
- Implement and manage point-of-purchase (POP) materials to improve product visibility.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accurate pricing and stocking of products.
- Provide essential resources to sales personnel, educating them on the key advantages of our program offerings.
- Engage with non-participating retail locations to identify barriers and opportunities for collaboration.
- Actively recruit new locations and introduce additional program product categories at existing sites.
- Propose lead generation strategies and promotional tactics to drive customer traffic to our retail partners.
- Collaborate with retailers to organize and host targeted community events.
- Identify opportunities for joint community outreach initiatives to maximize impact.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in outreach or community engagement roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to maintain accurate records.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Genuine passion for promoting energy efficiency and community involvement.
- Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel extensively.
