Production Assembly Specialist

The role involves the assembly of both new and existing products, leveraging mechanical expertise and precision to optimize packaging systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, test, and prepare packaging systems for client delivery, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance.
- This production and testing will cover all systems provided by Medical Packaging Corp, including those manufactured directly and those from value-added resellers or integrated systems.
- Construct subassemblies and complete units based on samples, models, verbal instructions, and assembly diagrams.
- Manage inventory effectively.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of two years' experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields is essential.
Basic electrical knowledge, strong mechanical skills, and quality control expertise are required.
Proficiency in soldering is necessary.
Candidates must be organized, reliable, and dependable.
Ability to comprehend and follow verbal instructions, drawings, and written procedures is crucial.
Excellent manual dexterity is required.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs is necessary.
Experience in machine shop and metalworking is advantageous but not mandatory.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Technical Degree or Certification is a plus.
Supervisory Role:
This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role is situated in a manufacturing and assembly environment, utilizing shop equipment, power tools, and hand tools. The position requires prolonged standing and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Position Type and HoursThis is a full-time, non-exempt role, typically working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Travel RequirementsLocal travel may be necessary for pickups and deliveries; a valid driver's license is required.
