Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our site operations and ensure the successful delivery of projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, including safety compliance, and directing field personnel to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including OSHA safety compliance and adherence to project schedules.
  • Direct and supervise field personnel to ensure effective project execution.
  • Communicate daily progress to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
  • Identify and report issues promptly to ensure effective solutions and minimize project delays.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Request guidance from the General Superintendent as needed to ensure project success.
  • Assist in project start-up activities, including site preparation and mobilization.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor and maintain project schedules, providing regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee subcontractors and site management to ensure effective project execution.
  • Attend and chair project meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently, including documentation and reporting.
  • Manage project closeout activities, including final inspections and punch lists.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and direct field personnel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Commitment to excellence and high ethical standards, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Working Conditions:

This role requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking, and office work. Specific vision abilities are necessary. The environment may have moderate noise levels. Job site visits are part of the position.
