ITIL Asset Management Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled ITIL Asset Management Lead to join our team at PRI Technology. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and recording software license assets for our organization, ensuring governance, compliance, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and promote an effective software strategy, policy, and best practices within our organization.
  2. Work with business stakeholders to manage the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of our IT asset repositories (CMDB or similar).
  3. Perform verification and auditing of the asset management database for efficiency.
  4. Maintain an accurate inventory of software assets, including version control, licensing details, and usage statistics.
  5. Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to asset management.
  7. Perform research on industry best practices and incorporate them with our organizational practices.
  8. Regularly reconcile asset data between our in-house developed asset management platform (HUB) and enterprise platform (ServiceNow).
  9. Review and update asset deployment procedures to comply with company policies and RTRC requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong background in hardware and software asset management (licensing, procurement, IT Operations, etc).
  2. Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
  3. Experience with ITIL, ITSM, or ITAM tools is required.
  4. ServiceNow experience is a plus.
  5. Ability to analyze data and provide insights.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  9. Bachelor's degree or similar.
  10. Project management experience is a plus.
