Boiler Engineer Position

About the Role

Kemps is seeking a skilled Boiler Engineer to oversee the operation of a modern boiler room with state-of-the-art equipment and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boiler engineering and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily assigned tasks and perform periodic inspections and checklists on plant equipment and systems
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments
  • Meet daily deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work in a wet environment and be exposed to dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals
  • Work flexible hours, including overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 2nd Class B Certification/License
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement
  • Pass all pre-employment screenings, including drug, background, and criminal checks
