Electronics Engineer - I

North American Lighting Inc., a leading manufacturer of exterior automotive lighting, is seeking an Electronics Engineer - I to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to provide engineering, design, and development support for new product launches and development projects related to electronics in exterior automotive lighting products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design, development, and production support for new lighting products to meet program timing goals.
  • Conduct and oversee design validation tests for prototype and production hardware.
  • Recommend and implement design changes to production products based on prototype testing results.
  • Conduct DFMEA, DVP&R, wiring schematics, component selection, and other technical support on assigned programs per customer requirements.
  • Provide electronics-related guidance and technical advice to design and engineering for new product development and production programs.
  • Generate new concepts for improving electronics design capabilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a position involving electronics development.
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering within automotive manufacturing is preferred.
