Job Description

**Job Title:** Clinical Healthcare Support Specialist
**Location:** Brooklyn, NY 11222
**Hours Per Week:** 37.50
**Days Per Week:** 5
**Shift:** Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

**Estimated Salary Range:** $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities
  1. Patient Care: Assist with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and handle clerical tasks to ensure efficient care delivery.
  2. Clinical Support: Provide support to physicians during procedures, relay instructions to patients and families, and assist with patient mobility and dressing.
  3. Clerical Duties: Handle patient medical records, enter orders into the EMR system, process prescription refill requests, and maintain accurate records.
  4. Infection Control: Ensure examination rooms and instruments are properly sterilized according to infection control policies.
  5. Inventory Management: Inventory, order, and restock medical supplies to maintain a well-stocked environment.
  6. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by following safety standards, adhering to personal protective equipment requirements, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved Medical Assistant certificate course.
  • Certifications: BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required; Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write); Polish (Speak, Read, Write).
