Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Provider Relations Network and Operations Manager to join our team at Delta Dental of Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our network and operations functions, driving strategic growth and excellence in our provider relations and network management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance to departments, overseeing daily operations and exercising professional judgment to solve problems and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Evaluate and counsel departmental team members on their performance, promoting growth and excellence.
  • Plan and develop educational training for the department, including product-specific training and partnering with the Learning and Development team to create learning pathways.
  • Implement and coordinate procedures based on established policies and standard operating procedures, driving operational efficiency and excellence.
  • Review and analyze reports, records, and directives, conferring with coworkers to obtain data required for planning department activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and participate in monitoring and analyzing costs throughout the budget year.
  • Participate in the development and execution of organizational OKRs, partnering with department team members to promote success.
  • Provide strategic leadership and change management in the development of department-specific and organizational OKRs that support DDCO's mission and strategic plan.
  • Align with DDCO's strategy to develop recruitment and retention strategies for networks, including Delta Dental PPOTM, Delta Dental Premier, Delta Dental Patient Direct, and Government Networks.
  • Serve as liaison to other member companies and Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA) for network-related inquiries and compliance, acting as a communication liaison between providers, dental associations, stakeholder groups, and DDCO.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in healthcare, business, or other related field, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or relationship management, preferably within healthcare/dental benefits or dental practice/DSO space.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of workforce management experience and knowledge of effective supervisory/management practices.
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Prior experience/certifications in Salesforce, PowerBI, or Tableau strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with government programs (e.g., Medicaid/Medicare) and related compliance requirements strongly preferred.
