Job Summary

The Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Aquatic Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our wellness team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative wellness programs and services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead group fitness classes, including aquatic exercise programs, to promote physical activity and overall wellness.
  • Provide one-on-one fitness coaching and exercise prescription to residents, taking into account their individual health and fitness goals.
  • Design and implement wellness workshops and events to promote healthy lifestyle choices and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure that exercise programs are safe and effective for residents with various health conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as exercise science or health education.
  • Current certifications in CPR, AED, and first aid, as well as group fitness instruction and personal training.
  • Experience working with older adults and individuals with chronic health conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
