**Job Summary:** Diagnostic Science Expert Wanted in Bryan, OH

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Science Expert to join our team at a major hospital organization in Northern Indiana. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for accurately performing medical laboratory tests following established laboratory policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree and certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist by a nationally-recognized organization. Alternatively, candidates with 1 year of clinical laboratory experience may also be considered if they pass a nationally-recognized certification exam within 5 years and 6 months from hire date.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with an estimated annual salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Main Duties:

  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results
  • Developing new tests and instrumentation
  • Training other laboratory staff members
  • Participating in quality control measures and maintaining the lab's readiness for inspections
  • Providing guidance to colleagues and contributing to the overall functioning of the clinical lab

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Nationally recognized certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist
  • 1 year of clinical laboratory experience (alternatively)
  • Visual acuity and color discrimination
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
