Job Summary

Sunday River is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Service Associate. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet guests, providing top-notch customer service from start to finish of the guest experience.
  • Operate the point of sale system, accurately identifying items for purchase and receiving payment from guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to local, state, federal, and Sunday River guidelines.
  • Assist with restocking and replenishing beverages and other food items.
  • Complete opening and closing shift duties, as well as side work as assigned by management.
  • Communicate with management regarding guest concerns or complaints.
  • Provide menu information, upsell, and answer guest questions regarding ingredients.
  • Communicate maintenance and repairs to management as needed to ensure a presentable and functional dining area.
  • Follow state, local, federal, and Sunday River guidelines and laws on proper service.
  • Inform guests of menu choices at other mountain restaurants, promote area activities, and answer general knowledge questions involving the resort.
Requirements
  • Related experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Wages start at $14.15 per hour plus tips.
