Sunday River Barista Job Description

Overview:

Sunday River is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at our signature coffee shops, Northern Lights and Coffee Hound. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, answering questions and making drink recommendations
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including classic Italian espresso drinks and modern coffee creations
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Maine state health code requirements
  • Restock supplies and manage inventory, ensuring a smooth operation
  • Learn and operate our point-of-sale system, accurately taking payments and orders
  • Assist with opening and closing shift duties, including setup, stocking, and sanitization
  • Communicate with management regarding supply needs and assist with bar inventory counts
  • Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure seamless service

Qualifications:

  • Related experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be at least 16 years old
