We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and directing the activities of warehouse associates to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead with a safety mindset to ensure a safe working environment for all associates.
- Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Direct and supervise the work of warehouse associates, including training and coaching.
- Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the operations management team to develop and implement action plans to improve expense and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA and HACCP.
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
Travel10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training.
