Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As a Radiographer I, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and process radiographic images, adhering to quality control standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or eligible for certification
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA) and CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
