Psychiatrist - Part Time Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at MCI-Framingham in Framingham, MA. As a part-time Psychiatrist, you will provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment to patients, as well as psychiatric consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of inmates referred by medical and clinical services staff.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and individual and/or group therapy.
  • Collaborate with site staff to provide clinical direction, general supervision, and training.
  • Approve, sign, and monitor the implementation and efficiency of treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of medical school and completion of an appropriate psychiatric residency.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Virginia and certified by the Office of Behavioral Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit.
  • Current DEA number.
