Job Title: Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Harvard University Health Services. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and psychiatric assessments, out-patient psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology for patients with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic and psychiatric assessments for patients with mental health issues
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including psychotherapy and psychopharmacology
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Supervise and train psychiatric residents and psychiatric nurse practitioners
  • Participate in multicultural initiatives and promote diversity, inclusion, equity, and cultural awareness
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Adult or Child Psychiatry (or board-eligible)
  • M.D. or D.O. and licensed to practice in Massachusetts
  • DEA license, including Massachusetts DEA
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized persons and underrepresented communities
  • Strong theoretical understanding of multicultural issues in mental health
