Job Title: Psychiatrist

Harvard University Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Harvard's Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse population of students, providing diagnostic and psychiatric assessments, out-patient psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology services. As a Psychiatrist at CAMHS, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive mental health support to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic and psychiatric assessments for patients with mental health issues
  • Offer out-patient psychotherapy and psychopharmacology services
  • Collaborate with University administrators to provide outreach and consultation services
  • Supervise and train psychiatric residents and psychiatric nurse practitioners
  • Participate in multicultural initiatives and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the delivery of clinical services
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Adult or Child Psychiatry (or board-eligible)
  • M.D. or D.O. and licensed to practice in Massachusetts
  • DEA license, including Massachusetts DEA
  • Documented experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized persons and underrepresented communities
  • Strong theoretical understanding of multicultural issues in mental health
