About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Partner Development Representative to join our team at EAB (Education Advisory Board). As a key member of our Partner Development organization, you will play a critical role in developing innovative sales and marketing strategies to generate new business opportunities for EAB and EAB Seramount.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule Sales Meetings: Schedule sales meetings for Partner Development Executives to meet with prospective partners, working towards weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
  2. Identify Qualified Leads: Leverage all available resources, such as Salesforce, external sources, and predictive modeling tools, to strategically identify and contact qualified executives and organizations.
  3. Communicate with Partners: Communicate with current and prospective partners via email and phone to build relationships and advance business opportunities.
  4. Develop Outreach Plans: Create and execute strategic outreach plans to support new business acquisition goals.
  5. Follow Up on Leads: Follow up with inbound leads within designated time periods to ensure timely follow-through.
  6. Manage Prospect Records: Maintain and update prospect records in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  7. Participate in Training and Coaching: Participate in regular Partner Development Representative training and coaching sessions to hone demand generation skills.
  8. Attend Team Meetings: Attend Partner Development organization team meetings and territory strategy sessions to stay informed and aligned with team goals.
  9. Learn Product Content: Learn EAB and EAB Seramount product content and research to effectively communicate value to partners.
  10. Complete Additional Responsibilities: Complete additional product-specific responsibilities as needed, such as creating proposals and RFPs, booking contracts, etc.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record.
  2. Strong Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and persuade executives.
  3. Goal-Oriented: Goal-oriented nature, with a proven ability to meet or exceed quantitative goals.
  4. Must Possess at Least Three of the Following: Must possess at least three of the following: sales or fundraising experience, experience working in a team environment, experience in an office setting.

  1. Proven Ability to Meet or Exceed Goals: Proven ability to meet or exceed a quantitative goal.
  2. Effective Communication and Persuasion: Ability to effectively communicate and persuade executives via email and phone.
  3. Poise, Maturity, and Resilience: Demonstrates poise, maturity, and resilience with internal and external audiences.
  4. Experience with Salesforce: Experience with Salesforce, with the ability to manage prospect records and leverage resources to identify qualified leads.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $42,000 - $46,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role. This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
