Adams Outdoor Advertising is seeking a Sales Executive to join its sales team. The ideal candidate will be a driven, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling dynamic outdoor advertising campaigns to current and prospective clients in the Bluffton area. The role will involve participating in the Adams Onboarding Program, which includes training on Out-of-Home Advertising and its power to drive effective return on investment for clients.
The program also includes the assignment of a senior mentor to guide the Sales Executive's initial experience and long-term success.
Initial compensation structure consists of a fixed salary, with opportunities to transition to a salary plus commission structure over time. With demonstrated success, there are opportunities to obtain increasing levels of responsibility, assume a leadership position, and transfer to other AOA markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approach existing and new advertiser clients
- Structure advertising packages to meet advertiser needs
- Handle internal responsibilities including contracting, scheduling, and collections tracking
- Communicate with internal leadership regarding sales projections and tracking
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive working environment
- Liaise with colleagues in other Adams Outdoor Advertising markets to identify potential opportunities and cross-pollinate sales
- Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience
- One to three years direct media or relevant sales experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with computer software and technology
- Good working knowledge of marketing research
- Must be willing and able to travel, if required
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
