NICU Clinical Manager

Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced NICU Clinical Manager to lead our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the NICU, providing strategic leadership, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the NICU department, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the NICU team, promoting a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, quality, and safety in the NICU.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and services.
- Manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research in neonatal care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in NICU nursing, with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage resources, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in computer systems and healthcare technology.
- Current RN license and Los Angeles County Fire Card required.
- Previous management or leadership experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of postpartum and NICU nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
