POSITION SUMMARY:
The role involves a thorough review of claims payments on remittances to ensure optimal reimbursement for accounts. The specialist will take necessary actions to facilitate prompt payment resolutions for account management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct retrospective analysis of accounts, short-payments, and third-party remittances within assigned work files to ensure accurate payments.
- Implement established follow-up procedures to expedite the payment of claims effectively.
- Utilize the computer system to access daily work files and identify accounts that require follow-up actions.
- Perform various tasks essential for resolving individual credit balances, ensuring accuracy in all account transactions.
- Initiate corrective actions or liaise with responsible individuals to address issues, documenting all actions in the system.
- Gather all necessary customer information to establish accounts.
- Analyze correspondence and account-related issues, taking corrective measures to maintain account integrity and facilitate payments.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP and Excel is advantageous.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma is required; a 4-year degree in business is preferred.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage disputes and engage with challenging customers.
- Demonstrated judgment and awareness of potential issues.
- Candidates should possess the ability to multitask while ensuring satisfaction for both internal and external customers at all organizational levels.
