Electrical Assembler Technician

The Electrical Assembler Technician is a key role at Liberty, responsible for performing electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on various products. This position requires strong electrical and manufacturing background, experience following standards and reading prints, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Install, repair, or replace electrical devices, including controllers, switchboards, and conductors.
- Test and diagnose electrical systems to identify defective parts and make necessary repairs.
- Install enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems.
- Program VFD, PLC, and other control systems.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate installation and repair.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools, as well as measure equipment.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Maintain a personal commitment to Liberty's safety culture.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years of demonstrated electrical experience.
- Accredited certificate in low or medium voltage equipment.
- Experience in the manufacturing and/or maintenance oil and gas industry working with low and medium voltage electrical equipment is a plus.
- Proficient ability to calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and install instrumentation and/or electrical equipment.
- Ability to read prints.
- Ability to manage time in a manufacturing environment.
- Follow all safety processes and procedures.
- Ability to properly utilize required PPE.
- Ability to safely utilize hand tools.
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Shop and outside work as required.
- Regularly exposed to cold, heat, dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, reaching, etc. with arms, hands, and fingers.
- Requires frequent repetitive motion, i.e., turning wrenches, hammering, screwdrivers, impact tools, etc.
- Requires crawling and working in narrow spaces.
- Requires to work at a minimum height of four feet above ground level.
- Requires to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and motor vehicles as required.
- Ability to properly and safely lift 50 lbs.
