Surplus Material Sales Director

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is a leading transportation agency in New York, committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Contract Manager to join our team and lead the Asset Recovery department. As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our surplus material sales program and managing a team of project managers, contractors, and sales specialists who execute internet sales programs, generating significant revenue for the Authority.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Transportation, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from an accredited college may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of procurement contract management experience to include project management and/or marketing.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Salary Range
$105,000 - $115,000 per annum.
