Job Title: DoD Financial Analyst

Overview:

Intelligent Waves is seeking a highly skilled DoD Financial Analyst to join our Advana team. As a key member of our Department of Defense (DoD) financial management team, you will play a crucial role in leveraging financial data and processes to deliver meaningful insights to our DoD customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial management support to DoD customers, leveraging financial data and processes to drive decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to support financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices in financial management.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and present financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Management Analyst, preferably within the DoD or government sector.
  • Proficiency in SAP-FM, Oracle, or SQL, and Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI, with a track record of leveraging these tools to drive meaningful insights and support decision-making.
  • Experience working with transaction details in government financial accounting systems.
  • Experience interpreting financial reports, performing financial statement analysis, and providing recommendations.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
