The Operations Site Accountant plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations at the plant. Reporting to the Operations Finance Manager, this position is integral in managing daily financial activities and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the site manager to ensure accurate monthly revenue and expense reporting.
- Operational Support: Assist the management team in making informed decisions based on financial insights and operational trends.
- Cost Management: Analyze financial data to support operational and strategic projects, providing solutions to cost-related challenges.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to financial control processes and maintain accountability within the operations team.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the quality of spare parts inventory to optimize operational efficiency.
- Assist in preparing the operating budget and work closely with various departments to develop annual plans and forecasts.
- Provide regular financial projections and conduct analyses of actual costs against forecasts.
- Participate in month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate accounting of revenues and costs.
- Review financial statements and identify discrepancies, preparing detailed reports on financial performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in Financial Analysis and Cost Accounting.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong relationships.
- Highly organized with a focus on meeting deadlines.
