Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve existing financial systems and procedures
  • Assist in the development and coordination of interfaces between financial and administrative systems
  • Coordinate all technology issues and initiatives related to core financial systems
  • Identify and manage efforts to increase operational efficiency in Financial Affairs departments through technology
  • Provide training and support to Financial Affairs staff on technology and system usage
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Write documentation and training materials for presentation and training to campus departments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field
  • One year of relevant experience with computer applications and coordinating technology in a complex organization
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of SAP, preferably in accounting, finance, purchasing, fixed assets, and facilities management
  • Configuration experience within SAP
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and configuration
  • Experience with web-based application programs
  • Project management and leadership skills
  • Training experience
