Family Therapist - Home Based

At Family Service Rochester, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our clients. As a Family Therapist - Home Based, you'll play a vital role in delivering family-focused services to youth aged 8-17 who are struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Our Approach: We utilize Systemic Family Therapy (SFT), a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, oppositional behavior, abuse, trauma, and delinquency. You'll work collaboratively with referral sources, key participants, and other service providers to provide holistic support to families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide family-focused services in the comfort of clients' homes or in the community
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each family
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in professional counseling, psychology, social work, or an approved behavioral science
  • Current licensure in the State of Minnesota for independent practice in social work, psychology, professional counseling, or marriage and family therapy
  • Passion for working with youth and families, with a strong understanding of family systems
